Daniel Gutsa
Associated artist of Dominic's Studio.
Daniel Gutsa, born in 1975 in the Mutoko district, attended primary school and secondary education at Murewa Mission and finished advanced level at Nyatsime College from 1995-1998 where he studied Accounting and Business Law.

Daniel started sculpting in 1992 when he visited his brother Tapfuma in Shurugwi. He had a memory of animals and human figures he used to mould when he was young and herding cattle in the veld. An inner urge forced him to start working on some small stones. Through reading and traditional tales e.g. "Proud Cock". He owes many thanks to Dominic Benhura , Mutupo Gallery and his brother Alfred, with whom he is staying with, for their unequivocal support and for encouraging him to take up art.
