Alessandra Politi
There is a long and patient work in the sculptures of Alessandra 
Politi Pagnoni which goes from the careful research of the material (white marble, black from Belgium, rosa from Portugal, red from Iran, blue granite of Bahia) and the use of appositions. Her sculptures have a long gestation: first superpose the different layers of marble and then model, carve, look for and let the form come out by itself. The passion for sculptures that you can feel in her artwork, affected the artist, born in  Milan, to move to Pietrasanta when she was only 20 years old. There she lives in company  of art,  sea,  nature and the material of her work.
